Say “Yes” to Music! is an inspirational program about creating community and realizing dreams. What better way to create community than through the one universal language, music. What better way to realize dreams than by helping one another along the way.
Say “Yes” to Music! takes students on a musical journey, entertaining with a diversity of styles from classical to rock to gospel to jazz. Don Lewis combines a state-of-the-art digital keyboard system with exceptional talent, exuberant energy, humor and student participation to convey his message—“If we learn about our differences and treat them as strengths, we can work together to make everyone’s biggest dreams come true.”
Don Lewis’ assemblies are suitable for students of all ages, elementary through high school. The program content is designed to encourage all students to participate, even if they have no musical training. Community is the message. Music is the medium. Inspiring, enlightening fun is the result!
